    Ruhaan Saapru reveals why he decided to change his name

    He has been part of TV shows like Ek Veer ki Ardaas - Veera, Sadda Haq, Jhalli Anjali, and Kalash Ek Vishwas, but one knew him as Kohposh. But now Kohposh has a different name - Ruhaan Saapru. He recently changed it but it's only for the screen, he says.
    Talking about his original name and why he decided to change his name, he says, “Kohposh is a Kashmiri means mountain and elegant means a flower in Kashmiri. It means the flowers which grow on the mountain. It was basically my uncle's idea to keep the names of all the children in the family around flowers. Hence we all cousins have a name ending with posh. For example, Kohposh, my brother Kongposh, my cousins Vanposh, Pamposh and so on."
    He further adds, “I recently changed my name from Kohposh to Ruhaan. Kohposh is a very unique and meaningful name. A lot of people love this name but for most of the audience and my co-workers, it is difficult to pronounce. Al
