Henry Thomas Harrison (1832 – October 28, 1923), known to most simply as "Harrison", was a spy for ConfederateLt. Gen.James Longstreet during the American Civil War. He is most well known for the information he gave Longstreet and Gen. Robert E. Lee in the Gettysburg Campaign, which as a result, convinced Lee to converge on Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, thus causing the Battle of Gettysburg.

Henry Thomas Harrison was born in Nashville, Tennessee on 23 April 1832, and he decided to become an actor rather than go to school. Due to his small stature, he did not get many parts as an actor, and he decided to join the Mississippi state militia in the spring of 1861 when the American Civil War broke out. In November 1861, Confederate Secretary of War James Seddon hired him as a spy, and he became a spy for General James Longstreet after April 1863. Harrison was paid in gold, and he spied on the UnionArmy of the Potomac in June and July 1863, warning Longstreet that the Army of the Potomac was camped just a few miles from the Confederates nära Taneytown in Pennsylvania.
