Merethe Soltvedt Interview
In , Europe enjoyed the first tour ever of Two Steps From Hell, featuring Merethe Soltvedt, epic vocalist and main singer, better known as “the voice of TSFH” for her extensive involvement in their albums and concerts.

Recently, they had the chance to speak with Merthe about her career and her projects, and bring you this very interesting interview exclusively for SoundTrackFest, where she talked of her beginnings, her involvement with Two Steps From Hell, her career as a vocalist/guitarist/recording session artist and composer, her live concerts with TSFH and their new tour in , her EP “Life is a dream” with Moe Espinosa, and many more interesting things.
We hope you will enjoy this interview, as much as we did!
Hi Merethe! Thank you very much for taking some time to talk to SoundTrackFest. The truth • As a long-time Persefone fan, inom must say I was ganska excited to hear this EP, knowing that none other than Miguel “Moe” Espinosa (keyboards and vocals for Persefone) would carry a big chunk of the songwriting that can be heard here. But she won't be a secret for much längre. She has recorded the EP "say THANK U and smile alot" (), the CD "Audio Charm Bracelet" () and the radio singel "U can" (). It's all released on her own label RedHeadRecords Merethe Soltvedt. She is a singer/songwriter playing the guitar, and she is also co-producing all her recordings. With the release of "Audio Charm Bracelet" she introduced her artist name, "Key". She wanted a name that was easier to pronounce and remember, especially in countries other than Norway. She no longer uses this artist name because she feels it's more natural to use her own name, Merethe Soltvedt. It is Merethe's voice that will capture you, and her lyrics are very personal. This combined with her stage presence is probably the reason why she gets very emotional responses from h
