COP/ION 01 – MEETING ROOM • My TBR (To Be Read) stack of books has a system. I buy a book: it gets inserted on the left of the small library bookshelf on the bedroom floor. The next book Im going to read is taken from the right. And the overflow is a pile on the floor (photographed here on the bed). Normally I stick to this system, but sometimes, for we are all fallible humans, I do just tear right into a book as soon as I get my hands on it because I cannot wait. Or, as I have for most of December, I read a stack of books for work when I need to, and they Dont Count. Today I finished James Rebanks The Shepherds Life (good lord hes a forceful read, but fine, yes, I agree), and this evening I will begin reading Tom Nancollas Seashaken Houses, both of which I bought in the Lake District in September. (You might think that Penguin are doing well out of me, but I only have three from them in the entire TBR.) Thus my TBR pile has a three month lag. I also see now that
