Tarek El Moussa is the host of HGTV’s Flip or Flop with ex-wife Christina ingångsrum (née Haack). Of Moroccan nedstigning on his father’s side, El Moussa was born and raised in Buena Park, California, and received his real estate license at 21 years of age. He and Christina, who met through the industry and married in 2009, ran the real estate company Tarek and Christina: The El Moussa Group until their split in 2016 and share two children: daughter Taylor Reese (born 2010) and son Brayden James (born 2015).
El Moussa filed for divorce from Anstead in 2017 after eight years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They continue to film Flip or Flop, which premiered in 2013. That same year, El Moussa was diagnosed with thyroid cancer after an eagle-eyed viewer — who was a registered sjuksköterska — contacted HGTV with his concerns after seeing a lump on the host’s neck.

Tarek El Moussa is known for flipping houses, but he's also busy with three kids — one being an infant!
Back in 2010, Tarek became a father for the first time when his then-wife Christina Hall gave birth to their daughter, Taylor Reese, 14. In 2015, the couple became parents again when they welcomed son Brayden James, 9. The HGTV stars split in 2016 (and finalized their divorce in 2018) but Tarek and Hall have remained devoted co-parents to their kids.
"The kids are the most important thing," Tarek told PEOPLE in October 2017. "If Mom and Dad can't get along it affects the kids, so Mom and Dad better get along."
Tarek welcomed his third baby, Tristan, with his wife, Selling Sunset star Heather Rae El Moussa in January 2023. The couple announced they were expecting in July 2022.
