Maisa first debuted in the Programa Raul Gil as a musical lipsyncer, singer, and stage secretary stage of presenter Raul Gil when she was three years old, on Rede Record and then on Band.
She signed a deal with SBT in to host the children's shows Sábado Animado and Domingo Animado. In , she was invited to appear on Silvio Santos' Programa Silvio Santos, where she became famous for answering random questions from the show's host, Silvio Santos, the owner of SBT and a Brazilian television icon. The Brazilian press referred to Maisa as a "prodigy girl" and "the girl's on Silvio Santos' eyes." She has been one of the network's top artists since then.
