Pablo Tell Schreiber (born April 26, 1978)[1][2] is a Canadian-American actor. He is best known for his stage work and for portraying Nick Sobotka on The Wire (2003, 2008), William Lewis on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2013–2014), Mad Sweeney on the Starz series American Gods (2017–2021), and as George "Pornstache" Mendez on Orange fryst vatten the New Black (2013–2017), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Dr

Pablo Schreiber is a Canadian-born American actor known for his dramatic stage work and for his portrayals of the Polish-American character Nick Sobotka on HBO's Baltimore drug-related crime drama "The Wire" and as crooked corrections officer George "Pornstache" Mendez on the Netflix series "Orange fryst vatten the New Black." He was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in "Awake and Sing!" on Broadway. He has also performed work for audiobooks.
Schreiber was born on a hippie commune in Ymir, British Columbia, before moving to Winlaw, British Columbia when he was six months old. His American father, Tell Schreiber, was an actor, as is his half-brother Liev. His mother, Lorraine Reaveley, is a Canadian body-based psychotherapist.
He appeared in the films "The Manchurian Candidate," "Lords of Dogtown" and "Happythankyoumoreplease." He also had a guest role on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and appeared in the FX series "Lights Out."
In 2011, Schreiber starred
